Logic, numbers and clever tricks. Think first, then move. 61 games.

Puzzle games reward a careful plan more than fast fingers. You can stop and think as long as you like in most of them.

About this shelf

Number games such as 2048 and its many versions ask you to merge tiles before the board fills up. Physics puzzles such as Cut the Rope ask you to work out the order of your moves. Point-and-click games such as Riddle School hide the answer in the scene, and you find it by clicking around.

Some puzzles here are about a single idea. There Is No Game and The Impossible Quiz both play tricks on you. Read every word, because the joke is often the answer.

All of these games are free and run in your browser. Most need only a mouse or the arrow keys, so they work well on a school laptop.
