What is Doge 2048?
Doge 2048 is a version of the 2048 number puzzle. The board is a 4 by 4 grid. Each move slides every tile as far as it can go in one direction. When two tiles with the same value touch, they merge into one tile with double the value.
In this version, each value has its own Doge picture, the Shiba Inu dog from the meme. The rules are the same as the original game. You keep merging to build bigger tiles, and the game ends when the board is full and no move can merge anything.
Controls
| Key or action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Arrow keys | Slide all tiles up, down, left or right |
| Swipe | Slide tiles on a touch screen |
How to play
Each move adds a new small tile in an empty space. Plan so that the new tile does not land between your big tiles.
Your score goes up by the value of every merge. Bigger merges move your score much faster than many small ones.
3 tips
- Keep your biggest tile in one corner, and build the row next to it in order.
- Use only three directions most of the time, such as left, down and right. Avoid the fourth unless you have no other move.
- Do not chase small merges all over the board. Merge toward your corner instead.
